What  mission does God intend for families?

We shouldn’t unnecessarily scare our children.

We can yield to fear or to God.

Character beauty is more important than physical beauty.

We must be alert if we would avoid unnecessary pain.

We should make our best guess what our duty is, then do it.

If we love, we will do our duty and, thus, be successful in God’s view.

Christians should accept those whom God has accepted.

Good timing is an important part of healthy communication.

Love enough to avoid sinful troublemaking.

Jesus condemned the many forms of hypocrisy.

We must choose to act in ways that promote love, not ill-will.

Angels help us.

Sinful complaining undermines spiritual progress.

Without hope, life can be grim.

Silence, when a compliment was needed, can wither resolve to persevere.

Mere worldly success is catastrophic.

Humble people see themselves as God does.

Some forms of competitiveness are selfish and should be avoided.

We need to discern our own and another’s reason for saying something.
